Western Raid DEMO
A downloadable game for Windows

Western Raid is a fast-paced, Atari-inspired game where you defend your UFO from bandits on a set timer in a chaotic twist on the classic Breakout formula.
This is a DEMO build, there may still be bugs, crashes or incompatibility with certain devices. Currently offering only 2 levels and many features are also not fully implemented, and there is only so much I could finish for this demo.
The game is an university assignment turned personal passion project! Built with the guidance of our mentor, Jucimar Junior, and the help of an awesome team :D
Everything from visuals to music has been done by me, however part of the initial code were assisted by college teammates and later helped from AI on parts I had difficulty grasping as a starter programmer.

Install instructions
🕹️ How to Install and Play:
Download the ZIP file from the game page (you’ve probably already done this).
Right-click the downloaded ZIP file
→ Choose “Extract All...” (or use 7-Zip if installed)
→ Choose a folder to extract the game to (e.g., your Desktop or Documents).
After extraction, open the new folder (e.g., WesternRaid_BUILD).
Double-click WesternRaid_BUILD.exe to launch the game.
If you see a Windows warning, click “More Info” → “Run Anyway”.
📎 Tip: You can right-click the .exe and choose “Send to > Desktop (create shortcut)” to access it more easily later.
